My wife and I just stayed at Flagstone Motel over the Memorial Day weekend. It was very affordable, clean and a comfortable motel. It was just purchased by a new family. They have already started renovating. It has new windows. They have purchased carpet to install in all the rooms and are painting inside all the rooms. They mentioned that they have plans to remodel the outside soon.My husband and I own a nice size boat that we wished to park at the motel. They reserved us a nice spot to easily back the boat into and leave over night. We will stay there again next May for halibut and any time we are in the area. The owner and staff was very friendly. We would recommend this motel.

Has recent New Owners. Very clean, friendly front desk. Beds a bit harder than I would prefer but it was affordable for the area and just rolling into town.

Great room, it has the essentials I was looking for, clean, close to the dock, walking distance to downtown shops and good value.
Room: Seems like it was recently updated. Clean room, bathroom. Clean towels, no bleach smell. No carpeting and nice wood laminate floors. King sized bed, firm bed had a great night sleep. High shower pressure. Good view of the Olympics.

Checked in for a 3 night stay. i have stayed at the red lion here in PortAngeles and I feel this hotel deserves a better rating! i would definitely stay here again! Nice and clean. remodeling going on. clean sheets, shower, and sink! fridge and microwave fantastic! managers are super friendly! simple breakfast with cereal, pastries, and fruit. I think the new managers are doing a fantastic job!

Serviceable and clean, and we got a good price ($59 with AAA card) in late July when many of the other hotels were charging ridiculous amounts -- the Super 8 wanted over $100! The king bed was very comfy, perhaps because we like firm mattresses, but one of the best of our trip. Nice view of the mountains from our window, too. The management was friendly. It's not fancy, but it was a good base for visiting the national park. There is a basic continental breakfast with fruit and good muffins included. I also liked the fact that it was just a couple of blocks to downtown, an easy walk to restaurants.
